Winter Fun

We have been busy the past few weeks!  As we become more involved in different things and make new friends, it seems our life become quite busy!  We love it and we have been able to do some really great things lately.

A couple of weeks ago we ventured to the quaint little town of St. Charles, MO.  Their Main Street is truly Magical.  It looks like something straight out of a Dickens novel.  We loved walking around and shopping at the little shops and watching all the characters dressed up and listening to the carolers.  It was a great day and a place that we will definitely visit every Christmas!

Later that week we went to the Cherry Hill Holiday Festival.  We were first in line for the carriage ride this year and had a great time watching the Magic Tree light up!

Then last weekend Jules and her Girl Scout Troop went to a local Retirement Facility to sing Christmas Carols.  They all did a great job and had so much fun singing for everyone.  The residents really loved it too and didn't want them to stop!

We are all SO ready for Christmas break.  We have 11 glorious days off together!  We plan to do a whole lot of nothing.  May take a few day trips, we may not.  I know for sure that I want at least two full days where we don't get out of our PJ's and we just watch movies all day!

We will miss everyone on Christmas day, but we are really excited to have the day just the three of us.  We may get some snow on Christmas Eve too, and Jules is excited about that.  Most importantly, we are excited for family time together and for the new memories that will be made!!!
