Exploring
On Sunday afternoons, we have been finding ourselves getting in the car and seeing where the day will take us. We love being in a new state and exploring everything around us!
Last Sunday we stopped by Drew's work (it is in a small town a half-hour from our house). We drove around the town and explored the Westminster College Campus. The Winston Churchill Museum is located there as well as a piece of the Berlin Wall. It was really neat to see it and share that part of history with Julianna. After that, we took the "long" way home. We drove around and explored for a few hours. It was SO nice! We love seeing new places and checking things out we have never seen before!
I will try and post more pics, the more we explore.

This week we will be doing even more exploring as we leave for Chicago on Wednesday!!!! We have been looking forward to this trip for the past 6 months and I can't believe it is finally here!
We are seeing a Cubs game on Thursday, hitting the Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium and if there's time - the Adler Planetarium on Friday, then Saturday for Julianna's birthday, we are taking her shopping and for lunch at the American Girl Store. Then we will hit the Children's Museum at Navy Pier and explore around there.
I can't wait! We need this time away just the three of us and we are so thankful we are able to take this vacation!

I love this pic. Drew is explaining to her what the wall was and what it meant. She understood every part of what he was saying and had lots of questions. I just love how much she loves to learn!
