An Evening with Grandma and Grandpa Stinson!

On Friday night we were invited to attend the Iowa Cubs game with Bob and Diane.  As you can see from the photo below there was excitement in the air for the game.  However, Mother Nature had other plans - for the second night in a row we had to come up with Plan B for the evening due to rain! (On Thursday we were headed to the Balloon Festival in Indianola had to turn around - caught a movie instead)

So we headed to Chuck's for dinner - delish, then DQ for dessert and back to Bob and Diane's for a fun evening of Scrabble.  Drew won.  I came in last.  Typical. 

Still we had a wonderful night and hopefully with catch another I-Cubs game before the season is done.  :)

 I had to post this one too.  Lately Jules has nothing but love for Grandpa Stinson.  Always hugging him and chatting with him.  This pic was just too cute.  Taken on the way back to the car after dinner.  Priceless.  :)
