Our Summer Vacation Home

Ha!  Did some of you think we had won the lottery or something?!? 

We are very blessed to have friends who have parents who have a pool! Every summer we pack up all of our kiddos with their summer gear and head there to cool off.  All I could think of on Saturday as I was sweating my behind off getting everything done for her party and cleaning up, was "You will be poolside by this afternoon!"  And don't you know it was the perfect day to lounge by the pool.  We had a blast and got some sun (maybe a little too much.  My shoulders are still suffering and Drew, well all I will say, is - that man will never learn)!  We swam Saturday, all day Sunday and went back last night for a refreshing dip after I got off work. 

And looks who also has learned to LOVE the pool?   Jules was very brave this year.  She can completely touch the bottom this year, so she loved every minute of being in the water.  Last night she even went under and tried to swim a little bit on her own. I love swimming and was in a pool every summer growing up, so seeing her learn to swim and love the water as much as I do makes me so happy!  Hoping one day we can have a home with a pool.  There is nothing better than being poolside all.summer.long! 

 Got to spend a lot of time this weekend with these lovely girls. Keaton and Grace.  Seriously, we are so blessed to have such wonderful caring and considerate children.  These girls were so paitient and sweet with Jules.  They helped her learn a few new things and cheered for her when she accomplished them.  LOVE them!
