Mary's 13th Birthday
For Mary's 13th birthday we suprised her with 13 fun gifts! Nothing too big or extravagant, but what 13 year old doesn't like to open 13 gifts!
Her favorite was a note from her dad entitled "13 Life Truths for my Daughter on her 13th birthday." Drew spent 2 nights working on what he wanted to tell Mary. Every time I read them I tear up and I hope that as Mary's pulls that out from time to time over the years, she will reflect on his words of wisdom and apply some of those to her life.
