It's called a FILTER Julianna!
Jules has been on a roll lately with her words of wisdom and embarrassing Julsieisms.
On Monday we ran to Hy-Vee to get a few groceries. We weren't even past the first aisle when her rants quickly turned to embarrassment for her poor mama.
At the deli counter as we are being waited on by a shorter gentleman:
Jules - "Mom, is that a man or a woman helping us?"
Me - completely ignored her
Jules "MOM! Is that a guy or a lady???"
Me - "Jules, that is a gentleman helping us, please be quiet"
Jules - "Well Mom, he sure looks like a lady to me!"
Me - Quickly grab my ham from this poor man and decide I can just get my turkey and cheese orders later....
So one would think that would be it. That is all this mom should have to handle in one night - Oh No!
We aren't even 2 aisles over and we are pushing our cart behind a man who must have just come from work at a restaurant. The onion, garlic, curry and who knows what else smell coming from him wasn't the most pleasant, but who would really say anything about it.....

Jules - "Mom, what's that smell?"
Me - Again tried to ignore, but I did say "I am not sure honey, smells like spices to me"
Jules - (as she is pointing at the man in front of us) "Oh whew, Mom, that man's BUTT smells!"
Me - "Julianna!" I don't even know what to say or do at this point. I look at the lady coming at us, who is laughing uncontrollably and just turn my cart around and head in the other direction. I pulled Julianna aside and explained to her that she doesn't need to say everything that is on her mind and to be careful, because sometimes she can say things that hurt others feelings.
Jules - She just shrugged her shoulders and said so matter of factly" Well, Mom, his butt really smelled" Then she skipped along her merry way like it was nothing.
AHHHHHH!!!! I feel we are just a few shopping trips away from her flat out asking a pregnant woman why she is so fat.
