A Great Day!

Drew had the day off yesterday and let me tell you it was wonderful to have him home!! Drew and I only have 2 days off a month together and we take full advantage of them. We opened all of the blinds and lazed around in the morning watching movies with the girls and reading the paper. Then we set the timer for an hour and cleaned as much as we could. We love to turn up the music loud and set the timer to clean. We make a game out of it and get excited about cleaning with the girls. It kind of gets them in the mood to help out!

Mary asked later in the afternoon if she could dress-up Jules and put some make-up on her. Drew wasn't too thrilled about it, but I thought it would be o.k. as long as we weren't going anywhere and they took a bath as soon as they were done. Mary made herself and Jules look pretty cute, so I of course had to take some pics! Can you even believe how grown-up Mary looks. She is gorgeous and is becoming quite the young lady!

To surprise me, Drew called my sister Courtney to see if she could watch the girls last night so we could go to a movie. We ended up seeing Paul Blart: Mall Cop because it was the only funny thing out right now. Then we headed to Wal-Mart for our weekly grocery run. You don't know how nice it was going to the store with just Drew and not chasing Jules through the aisles. It was just a nice relaxing day with my family. These are my favorite days. I love being with Drew and I am so thankful for whatever time we have together and take full advantage of every second of it!!

Oh and I should also comment about how your time with Drew is so cherished. I know completely how you feel. When I was working we only had week-ends together and I valued them so highly.
