A little scared...

...Sunday night (right after I wrote the post below about what a wonderful weekend we had) Drew ended up having to take me to the hospital because I felt like I was having a heart attack. I was having severe cramping in my leg, then it would travel to my heart. We feared the worst thinking it was a blood clot or something.

After several test (tested for blood clots, my thyroid, cancer cells etc.) they found that I have a potassium deficiency. Usually you get your potassium from a banana every now and then or oranges and orange juice. Well I am allergic to bananas and have never really been a fan of oranges or orange juice (except when I was pregnant), so I have probably never had the proper amount it my system. Well it looks like it finally caught up with me. Low potassium levels cause bad muscle spasms throughout your body, including cardiac muscles, weakiness, fatigue etc. So that is what the Dr. thinks is going on. I really hope that is all that is going on...

I am on potassium supplement pills for a week, then I will go back on Monday to be tested and see if they are helping me.

Thanks everyone for your prayers and concern and help with Julianna over the past few days. It has meant so much. I will post an update next Monday once I see the Dr.
