My Grandma Tonsi

My grandma Tonsi was put in hospice yesterday and the outcome doesn't look good. She fell a couple of weeks ago and hasn't been able to recover. We are all devastated.


You have never met a woman with more spunk and wit. She can keep you laughing for hours. She is so kind and wonderful and giving. I love her so much and I will miss her terribly when she is gone.

Julianna and I are planning to fly to Phoenix to be with my mom (and hopefully still my grandma) on Wed. We will be gone for a week. I am so thankful that it has worked out for me to be able to go down there and for Jules to be able to come along. Lauren left this morning with my Aunt Netty by car and they plan to be there sometime tomorrow morning. I am glad that we will all be able to be together as a family.

The last time we went to Phoenix was for Thanksgiving in 2006 when Julianna was five months old. Here are some precious pics of her with my Grandma. I am so thankful we had this time with her and that Jules will always have these pictures as a reminder.
