2-Week Catch Up!
I took a break from blogging for a couple of weeks because I have just been SO busy.
I started classes 2 weeks ago. So far I am really loving it. I have decided to become a Psychologist. Even hoping to go for my Masters Degree in a few years. So I am on the track with my classes to pursue that degree. I am really excited about it and so far, class is great fun - even if I am the oldest one in there. You know you are old when your teacher makes a comment about a comic from the 80's and I was THE ONLY ONE in class to laugh about it!!
Jules is talkin' up a storm. She says new words everyday, so we really have to watch what we say around her. Her new favorite word is "breast". Um, yeah. It means exactly what you think it means.
In other news, Drew got a job yesterday!!!! Woo hoo! We are so thrilled. It has been a LONG couple of months for us as we have waited for an offer.
Starting on Thursday he will be a Chef for Johnny's Italian Steakhouse. They are building a new one on with the Holiday Inn by Jordan Creek. It is owned by the same company that owns the Machine Shed where Drew used to work. It is a GREAT company with even better benefits and perks. It is such a great restaurant - in fact I had one of my bridal showers at the Johnny's by the airport. I just LOVE their food!
So, that about sums up the past 2 weeks. Even though we are beside ourselves with excitement about Drew's new job, it will be hard to see him go back to work. It has been great having him home every night and on the weekends and the fact that I haven't had to do very much house work has been great too!!!
