"Mama....."
O.k. so it finally happened - Julianna said her first word. No mumbling, no "did I hear what I think I heard" - her actual first word and it was.............. MAMA!!!!!! She likes to move her body up and down and make a "mmmm" sounds, so all day Saturday (while Drew was at work - hee hee hee) I worked with her to fully say "mama" and much to my delight, she started saying it ALL DAY LONG. MmmmMama, mmmMama, Mama, then she would look at me and yell "mom, mama"! Melted my heart- it did.
Of course Drew didn't believe me when he got home and I told him that Julianna had said her first word. Well about 5 minutes later, I was getting up and she says "mama" clear as day! Ha! I looked at him and I think there were tears in his eyes, he thought it was the greatest thing. So now we have a "mama" screamer in our house. I am sure there will be a day where I will wonder why I ever wanted this, but for right now, I am enjoying it. I can't believe that someone is calling me mama. It is so amazing and wonderful, just like her........
